i’ve moved!!!

No longer at my original studio Gallery7Studio, I’m now around the corner at 236 Prospect Street/Torrington inhabiting a beautiful old bank building.

And while I no longer have a “white cube” to present my art work, I’m not complaining!! :) See you here one day.

Current work is in progress after finishing pieces started or conceived in this past year of Covid and personal challenge.

It is always exciting to have a blank canvas (literally and figuratively) to allow time and inspiration to motivate the creative direction.

I’m revisiting a technique from from 2018 which feels like a departure from the wabi sabi aesthetic of the last several years. Working with colorful, dynamic and very inorganic materials, these kinetic sculptures have a joyful feel. They are easy to live with and create infinite patterns of light, color and reflection depending on the environment.
