A WOMAN'S JOURNEY

This piece is inspired by a friend and all women who have been affected by breast cancer and family history. The 3 found elements; a Cape Cod buoy, ice tongs found in a barn, and a rusty metal sheet came together after an afternoon spent hearing the story of my friends failed and botched reconstruction and her battle to know herself as whole once again.
